Trim and join ability

Post by ngissing » Thu Oct 27, 2011 3:08 pm

Hi,

I've just started using MediaCoder and love it. This current version doesn't appear to be able to trim and group multiple files at the same time however. What I'd like to be able to do is encode a series of mpeg's into one file, and at the same time trim a part from the beginning of the first file and end of the last file.

I'm hoping this is something that could be included in a future release please?

I currently have MediaCoder's 0.7.2 build 4560 installed, and I do not seem to find a feature that lets you use the source file's Modified Date & Time to the converted video. At least in my side of operations, this is useful for keeping track of dates that the movies were shot / captured / taken, especially for cameras (Digicams) that are incapable to supply MetaData or something similar to the movie they create.
