can i determine what profile is currently loaded without having to deduce it?
(assuming I haven't *just* loaded of course in which case it would be logged)
Searched everywhere (I think) but doesn't seem to appear anywhere.
go on someone - I beg you ... prove me wrong
Have MediaCoder menu indicate current/last loaded preset
Re: the current preset is ... ?
sorry for not being clearer, let me put it another way ...
Monday - load preset "PresetMyCam" and convert camera video
Friday - open MediaCoder and prepare to convert camera video - and ask myself "what preset loaded last?"
I can't remember so I load preset "Preset MyCam".
I didn't need to re-load this preset if somewhere on screen it displayed Current Preset "PresetMyCam" thus I avoid having to load presets every time I launch.

Switch to advanced mode and you can get this info from the log.
When things work together, things work.

the logger in expert mode ?
this doesn't show the previous (i.e. current) profile - only the profile of a new started job?
OK so you could start the job, see it's one you don't want and abort
... but it would be nice to know what the current profile is before starting
