MediaCoder x64 & aacPlus encoder problems

Post by fidoboy » Tue Mar 09, 2010 2:50 am

Hello,

I've just downloaded and installed MediaCoder x64 on my system (Windows 7 64 bit) and i'm trying to use aacPlus encoder with no success. I've installed WinAMP and copied the file enc_aacplus.dll into the codecs folder of MediaCoder but it still says that i need to install WinAMP or copy the library into that folder. I think that this is because that library is for x86 systems only... but i'm not sure. How can i encode audio streams into aac? can anyone help me?

regards,

What aac encoder do you use? (I think there are 4 of them in MediaCoder)
I had posted the same problem here: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=8715&start=0
Stanley's response there might help you, too.

I was using CT AAC+ encoder, Stanley's response does not apply because i was already using rate > 32Khz...
