Wont encode xvid-avi or mpeg2-mpeg2 with ac3 384kbs
Tried many ways testing for 10 seconds time clip. Video as vobs or passed through projectx or vidreoredo.
Neither file will output AC3 correctly, always outputs AC3 as WaveFormatExstensible. As can tell no player will play that or see it.
Additionals:
Without group (joining files), converting dvd vobs is pointless with medicoder atm.
With user selctable audio id's to include is even harder to output dvd audio with correct audio tracks.
User selecting the id's to include should sllow for more than two tracks.
When there is 5.1 and 2.0 audio (maybe 2.0 is the dvd commentary). The 2.0 audio track should be left as is or converted as how user chooses it to be converted. Not resampling the bitrate or made into a pesudo 5.1 audio file.
The console atm doesn't know what layout the 5.1 audio has, even Original or 5.1 is selected in sound panel. Console says it it will guess, as to the layout the 5.1 audio has.
