Hi guys!
I found out that my destination video files (converting .flv to .avi using MEncoder with DXN Home Theatre PAL Profile and 1 B-Frame) dont nearly reach my set bitrate of 1800 at a resolution of 640 x 480. The destination files have only bitrates around 950-1026.
So I clicked on the "Advanced" button at the XviD-Tab on the right side to see if there is an option that I can change to other than default one. I found the "Quantitizer Type" option. The description for this option says that it is better to use MPEG for higher bitrates instead of H.263. So I tried to set this option to MPEG using the drop down list, but can't reach and change it.
Thanks in advance!
Ulf

Same GUI issue in version 0.7.2 build 4550 as described above for version 0.7.2 build 4526.
As there are only 2 options (H.263 or MPEG) to choose, wouldn't it be better to do it with radio buttons (Active-X controls) instead of the drop down list?

Hello,
Other things you can try is.....
click on quantitizer type then click on the selection box and then use your keyboard up and down arrow
to change the quantitizer type.

O-M-G! Yes, of course! I haven't thought of that possibility. Yes, that has solved my problem.
Thanks a lot!
