More Subtitle settings, IF POSSIBLE?

Post by kehn » Sun Feb 08, 2009 6:28 pm

It would be great if MediaCoder has more settings for subtitle:

- Subtitle size: exact number like 12,... - I know already have "Scale"
- Subtitle color: not only White
- Subtitle transparency: in percentage, % - I know already have "Blur"
- Subtitle alignment: ... I know already have "Positon"
- Subtitle shadow: ... I know already have "Outline"
- Support Unicode: like in Vietnamese charaters ...

I would prefer the exact number, like what has in TextSub:

If not, still excellent program for encoding video files.

Thanks.

Please add font style also. So, when SRT contain "<B> text </B>", that "text" can be shown as bold. Not for all subtitle.

While we're at it, can we look into more advanced support for AdvancedSubStationAlpha subtitles, and the ability to read from subs embedded in the video file?

Although, anyone looking to do those things now should know that you can still achieve those things if you use a directshowsource with avisynth as the decoder (enable on the tab marked "avisynth").

Hi,
Can you please add the "Copy" feature for subtitles in AVI files-It would be good.

Some mkv's come with embedded fonts, and use styles, colours, and screen placement.
It would be nice if it had an option
What you see in media player is what you get.
