Residual Mediacoder.exe after closing the program

I use MediaCoder(0.6.2.4250) for conversion of TS stream into H.264 mp4 format on Win-XP-Pro(SP3). When start MediaCoder.exe, it use about 13.5MB memory. When the program closed with nothing done, it is vanished from task list shown by XP's TaskManager. But. when a TS file is processed, MediaCoder.exe remains at the task list using 3.3MB memory. This MediaCoder.exe is residual, not vanished even if another MediaCoder.exe is kickked newly, then, 2 MediaCoder.exe are found at the task list. Why?
