I have been changing large mp4s to small xvid avis for I think most of this year with mediacoder so I can watch on my zen. Now since one of the .6.1 editions The program just goes into a loop or something and nothing happens so I uninstalled and reinstalled MediaCoder-0.6.0.3905. Dunno what you did but it don't go no more.

Can't get .6.1 versions to work
Try installing build 4190 and then the 4193 update and click the extensions button. It will bring you to the new online extension center which has an extension for the Zen Vision (in Personal Media Players). If you are not using the Vision you will have to change the resolution in MediaCoder's picture tab after you visited the extension site.
