:( I have a problem with encoding from FLAC to Lame MP3 :(

Post by Fabbie26 » Thu Sep 11, 2008 3:56 am

When I use Lame MP3 as encoder in standard VBR, the MP3 files I get all have a duration of 3 hours 3 minutes and 11 seconds (03:03:11). I did not try other settings but this problem started with the latest update.

With Helix MP3 I do not have a problem of duration, but I need to fill in all the information of each track.

Could you please resolve this my previous version did not have this problem .4166: It started since this version.

A possible solution could be trying out different audio sources.
MediaCoder settings:

x264 (backend/source: mencoder, fps: 23,976, Fabio Sonatti's settings) + nero aac 64 in matroska

I have tried al different manners and I found that with the Fraunhofer plugin and MP3 Helix plugin I don't have a problem with the output files in MP3.

Only when I use the Lame MP3 plugin I get that strange duration output and in MediaPlayer each converted track has a duration of 27 minutes and something.

There is definately something wrong with the Lame Plugin. Could you please check it out!

Thanks for your input. I am sure Stanley will integrate a newer version soon. For the time being I suggest you use either one of the plugins or fall back to the older version of MediaCoder.
