Turning off the auto update feature

Hi everyone !

As titled, I want to turn off the auto update feature.
Each time I run MediaCoder, it opens a IE window and lags several (dozen of) seconds to tell me there is a near new version available.

I don't care about that.
If I have some problems with my version, I will download a more recent one. My several previous experiences told me to stay in the working version until a problem arise, since new version = new bug.
And 16 MB to download isn't fast when you've got a 1 MB shared connection.

My computer is slow enough as it is. I don't need IE pop-ups with heavy scripts every time i need a quick transcode or a .wav extraction.
Did I also mention that my users use it to access Internet without login in my specific time-restricting software ?

The auto update was present in the preferences.
But not anymore.

Is there a way to disable it ?
It would save some hair of mine.
