Error When Finishing

I downloaded the newest version of MediaCoder and ran it immediately after installation. I put in my movie (Tokyo Drift, it says format XviD container MP4). I clicked extension and reverted the settings to default. I then clicked video iPod and made it so it stayed widescreen on my iPod (can't remember which setting, something like expand to fit or something). I pressed start, and everything seemed to work, but at the end (0 secs remaining) it said Error under the State column, and there was no file in the folder I had specified. I only have iTunes running, but I don't think that would change anything. I tried again with shrink to fit or some other setting in that category, but the same thing happened. Any help?
EDIT: I got the video to work, but the sound quality is horrible, and at the bottom of the screen there's a blinking green light. Any help?
