Version 3842

Running on Athlon x2 5200 w/ 2 gigs ram
OS Vista 64bit Home Premium
Nvidia 7200

Problem after installing 3842 MediaCore will not start. Worked fine on builds 3670 and 3798.

I couldn't use the optimized packs but out of the box worked fine in both the previous versions I used.

(I have submitted for an acount as well under the name Scrambler)

I have the same problem...

when i run build 3840 & 3842, i get an error message and the program crashes...

build 3798 works perfectly

config:

P4 540 3.2ghz, 1.5GB PC3200 dual channel, Windows Vista Ultimate

A fresh install can't even startup?
I've tested 3842 on several machines myself and did find this problem.
When things work together, things work.

since i thought it might be a vista related problem i tried the newest build (3850) and it worked fine. however i am using the 32 bit version of vista, maybe the problem is with the 64 bit version?
MediaCoder settings:

x264 (backend/source: mencoder, fps: 23,976, Fabio Sonatti's settings) + nero aac 64 in matroska
