video file size too small after conversion

Post by MarcinZ » Tue Jun 07, 2016 5:16 pm

Hello!

My system: Windows 10 64 bits Proffessional.

The input file is:
- XAVC S 4K 100 Mbit/s bitrate 25fps 3840x2160 (resolution)
- mp4 input file
- nearly 8 minutes length.

The output file is:
- h.264 codec, x264 encoding
- 28 Mbit/s output bitrate, resolution decrease to FULL HD, 25fps (the same as source).
- mp3 audio encoding
- mp4 output file
- NVENC GPU encoding turned off

I have the latest graphics card drivers installed. After conversion which completes successfuly with no errors, the file size is only 12 kB or 12 MB - I don`t remember exactly. The file size should be bigger than a few GB. The converted video file cannot be opened.

Please fix the bug.

the free version only supports up to 1080p

which is annoying, not least for videos in portrait.
