x265 encoder config totally lost in build 8.34.5710

Post by Hense » Wed Apr 08, 2015 12:42 pm

Have to say this is a great software, but in the build 5710 the X265 config panel doesn't work at all, some parameters seem to be fixed in your code, what ever I tried the --merange just stick to 57, I can't change it in any way. In build 5685 this could be overwritten manually by adding --merange 25 in 'extra option' field, but that doesn't work on 5710.

I noticed that you added Profile to X265 on UI, did it cause any change on the Advance panel for encoder parameters?

Did you set preset to "Custom"?

Thanks Stanley, customer preset works!
One issue left: the --sao is always there even I unchecked 'sample adaptive offset' in advanced panel. Other things work fine but this doesn't. Could you take a look?
