Cuda Error 14

Post by ahab666 » Mon Sep 20, 2010 9:57 pm

hi,

why is this issue still unresolved - is half a year not long enough - i was considering to go for the premium version if there were a guaranty that all codecs and parts are working and updated as needed - but 400 bucks are quite a bit - not included the support fees.

so if it is a monetary problem for you to get licenses for updated codecs - you should ask the users help to get that updates and then integrate them as quick as possible into your products ....

cheers - ahab

Last working Cuda Version without ANNOYING Expired Error

Post by DJ_MPEG2000 » Sun Sep 26, 2010 6:09 pm

Now. Whats the last Version that is working. I can't understand that this error isn't fixed. I can't be that difficult. Or isn't it intended to fix it?

Is there a fix ?
If not, do you know an other good software, which can encode with CUDA ?
Thanks in advance

hello,

has anyone come up with any answers yet ?

i have yet to try an encode using my cuda graphics card,i've only just found out it could be done.

i've done loads just using media coder using configure wizard only just discovered the potential of my cuda graphics card.
so i'm really eager to try it but i'm getting the same eror.i've updated to the latest driver, made sure i'm not selecting two-pass
but still i get this error,my computer is only 7 months old,i have the gtx 275 card,my computer is 64 bit,i have 8gb ram,i'm running windows 7 premium.

can anyone help?

p.s. if you haven't guessed i'm a complete newbie!

do you have the newest version of Mediacoder?
if yes, i suppose you installed 64bit version, installe the 32bit version for your BS Win 7 64bit.
I always had the same probl, since I use the 32bit Mediacoder for my Win 7 64bit, no probl at all.

Come on people, what do you need to fix this issue once and forever?

I got it to work with a "trick". Set your date to something in April 2010 and then start MediaCoder. Then you're able to use the CUDA Encoder again! This is just a "workaround", and I hope (as all the others here) that this issue will be fixed within the new update...
But for now, I hope my little "workaround" helps the others here!
