CoreAVC Pro support for decoding?

Post by Brian Boyko » Thu Jul 30, 2009 2:26 am

I think the problem with CUDA speeds in MediaCoder (compared to Badaboom) is that Badaboom uses CUDA for Decoding, as well as encoding. MediaCoder only has CUDA support for encoding.

Does MediaCoder have DirectShow support? If so, it should be able to use CoreAVC Pro for the decoding and get speeds similar to Badaboom.

It might work via AVISYNTH, which has DirectShow support.

Anyone tested this?
