CUDA is getting slow

Postby przemo41 » Mon Jul 20, 2009 2:50 am

I don't speak good english, but I need help :D. I think something wrong is in Media Coder.
I have gtx 295 gainward and i7 920. The 14 Mbps video bitrate .mkv movie at the start (first
1 minute) it's transcoding 60 fps, then the bitrate is going slow and slow and slow, and it stops on \
20 fps (and the rest of the movi is transcoding about 20 fps) (hopeless) ]; . Please help me, beacuse
I think there's much more people that they have the same problem.

Which version did you use? According to my benchmark with the latest version, a GTX 275 is giving over 60fps speed. But the benchmark is done with 2-minute movie clip. I will confirm this issue.
When things work together, things work.
