to low CPU and GPU utilization !?!

I use a 3.6 GHz processor with 2 cores and 6 MB L2 cache.
In addition, I take a CUDA GTX 560 Ti

It's relatively fast, a 1280x720 DivX video into an H.264 video with 720x405 and 1500 Kbps transform (about 8x), but ...

CPU and the GPU max. utilization of 50%, often much further below. The two CPU cores operate in parallel and each not more than 50%. The GPU of the graphics card is not working even with 40% utilization.

The hardware could nearly double to bring power, but not used. Lizard is that?

Without GPU support all 5 times more slowly and the CPU operates at most. CUDA is so water effectively, but it could do much more. The software uses but not all capacities.

Anyone know anything?

i have the same problem with versions 0.8.18.5343 and when use cuda in 1080p or 720p i have the same performance and it's limitited to 90 fps with 20% CPU and GPU.....

i have a i7 2700k and 680GTX

Did you change the offload option from partial to full?

I make different test with offload partial and full and i have this result

original file my parameter and the result and cpu charge you see the different b-frames i select 3 in video parameter but i have only 2 in output....

And the charge CPU it's strange hevy use off CPU and middle of GPU....
I have already with oldversion a best ratio of FPS (200)....

I have also performance problems. With the latest version 0.8.18.5358 speed with CUDA is about 8x. With v0.8.15.5290 and the same settings speed is about 11x. Offload set to full in 0.8.18.5358 doesn't seem to have any effect.

i have a phenom 1090 + GTS250 and can't get mediacoder to utilise more than 50% of each....no matter what settings i try

I wonder if it has something to to with the nvidia CUDA code, since other conversion s/w suffers from the same thing?

i get around it by having 2 instances of any encodes running - effecttively doubling the throughput - but obviously this
is only useful if i have at least 2 files to encode....

would much rather have a quicker single file conversion...

P.S.S parallel encodes appear to be disabled in the latest build?

If I start a topsite, does it use a lot of cpu? I don't want to webhost closing me down because of cpu usage, and it happened to me once already.

I was thinking about the buttons that will be placed on very high traffic sites, I forgot, is it possible to lets say have a button change address from a different webhost anytime without having the topsite user change the links to the buttons?
