CUDA encoder uses max 2 B-Frames

Encoding a file with CUDA encoder uses a maximum of 2 B-Frames. Selecting 3 or 4 or more only results in 2 in the O/P file. Saw this with mediainfo.

Re: CUDA encoder uses max 2 B-Frames

did you found a way around this ? the output quality with 2 b-frames is not that good and above 4 it just does not work, does not start encoding.

thank you

Re: CUDA encoder uses max 2 B-Frames

Hello,
are there any news about the 2 B-Frames problem with the CUDA encoder. I've installed xxx4720, which still has the 2 B_Frame limitation. I would also like to
use a higher B-Frames number with the CUDA encoder.

Is there somebody listening from MediaCoder development to address the problem?

Thank you for your support,

Joachim
