Error 005

Post by burratas » Tue Mar 10, 2015 3:57 am

Hi there,
I'm trying to transcode an uncompressed avi file, which is 4:05 long and weights 42,6 Gb.
It always returns the same error 005. It says the working folder hasn't enough space available, but I have 445 Gb free on the drive so I think it's not a concern.
Then, while checking at the 005 error explanation, it says it's because the drive doesn't exist which is obviously untrue or because I don't have the drive permissions. I have checked if I have the permissions and for all users groups, I have total control on the drive because obviously I'm the owner of my PC.
And by the way, I also tried starting MediaCoder as administrator, but it doesn't fix this.

Where is your working/destination folders located? I had that error a year ago and I just made a new working folder and destination folder on one of my secondary drives.
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are not.
