Getting rid of Haali Media Splitter and Grey-Screens?

Post by shizzlenizzle » Sat Feb 07, 2015 9:47 am

Just for the future if anybody struggles on this one.

Wanted to put Subs onto my MKV file via VodSub Render.
I accidentally installed the K-Lite Codec Pack where this B(a)stard Splitter called Haali Media was included.

Everytime I imported a MKV file into MediaCoder (<-- BEST SOFTWARE EVER)
this Son of a B(i)tch Splitter caused grey screens on my mkv files.

It didn't work anything to get rid of it.
So I decided to install XviD4PSP 5 because the problem could eventually be the MediaCoder itself.
But I still got the grey-screen like this:

Then I've noticed something...
These little motherfuckers showed up everytime I started encoding.

GOT THE Son of a Splitter!!

But THE MOTHERFUCKING Haali Media Splitter started trolling me like hell.
So I removed the K-Lite Codec Pack...but this sucker DIDN'T want to leave!
I search for Haali Media on my SSD, nothing showed up...looked in the registry..found that little B(i)tch and removed it.

Searched again for 'Haali' and found it in the X86 folder on my SSD.
Removed that B(i)tch again and installed 'ffdshow'-codecs (<-- AWESOME SH(i)t)...
started encoding with MediaCoder again and the Grey-Screen was gone!!!

I literally had an orgasmn not seeing that f(u)cking grey-screen!

So if you don't want to get Grey-Screens...NEVER USE THAT MOTHERFUCKING Haali Media Splitter!

Cheers
