Enconding with a wider range of color e.g. x.v.Color

Is it possible to encode a vídeo with a wider range of color e.g. x.v.Color, or AdobeRGB in MediaCoder?

Some of encoders which uses H264 make it possible to encode using a wider range of color. My camcorder records with this color range and my DSLR can uses AdobeRGB.

When I convert them to H264/AVC - MP4 or MKV, it is visible the loss of quality or degradation of colors (because the normal encoding uses sRGB 8 bits as standard)

I kown there is a option in x264 for High10 (with 10 bits of color) which is awesome (I have tested) but my TV maybe does not support yet (in my laptop Works great).

So, in order to play on my TV, keeping the "standard" 8 bits of color, but with a wider range (such as x.v.Color), will be interesting if the MediaCoder can do.

Thanks

Generally, there's only the "Color Space" options (under "Picture" tab) available in MediaCoder. There might be something in the advanced parameters (Settings>Video Encoder>x264) if you're willing to go digging through them but I doubt you'll find support for something like AdobeRGB...
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are not.
