Xvid support Variable Bitrate

Post by lattasi » Wed Apr 09, 2014 1:20 am

Hi,

I use MediaCoder 0.8.29.5603 32bit and 64bit.

With Xvid format the variable bitrate mode is not supported

But Xvid support Variable Bitrate or something wrong???

Thank you very much

You need to use 2-pass or 3-pass encoding instead of standard variable bitrate. The multi-pass methods are also variable bitrate methods and will always give you better quality than normal variable bitrate so it's generally better to use them.
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are not.
