Rotate an video using mediacode

hai folks,
Iam trying to rotate an video which is captured by Iphone,ipad device ,videos are upside down. Can you please tell me the command for rotate an video using mediacode. Is it possible to detect an rotation of video ,and also rotate to Horizontal flip , is there is any media code command?

i used this command
mc -vf rotate=2 -o sample.mp4 sample.avi

which i got error invalid -Vf .........could anyone pl do need fullness!

You are using the command line? In the GUI version, you can set up for rotating on "Picture" tab.
When things work together, things work.

Or more specifically, look on the Effects tab opposite the Picture tab.
