subtitle codepage problem - Czech diacritics - CP1250

Post by rissiak » Mon Aug 01, 2011 9:40 pm

Hi,
I have problem with special czech characters in subtitles.

In earlier versions of MediaCoder f.e. 0.7.3.4672, I set subtitle codepage to CP1250 and everything was OK. But with new version 2011 (0.8.1. 5175) this setting won't work.

Problem characters are:
č ě ř

But for example no problem with these characters: ž á é š ...

Can anyone help?
Thanks.

Hello,

got new phone for Christmas so I was looking for a solution to encode some video with Czech subtitles into MP4/H.264/AAC.

I've got MediaCoder x64 0.8.28.5582 and I have same problem as the guy above me two years ago.

I hope it's just matter of right settings - can anyone tell me how to set it so I get all the Czech characters:
ěščřžýáíé

Thank you for your time!
