FFmpeg problem 0.7.5.4772 xvid error

Post by Mosco » Thu Nov 04, 2010 5:45 am

Hi all! (And sorry for my English...) I have a problem using the last version of mediacoder (0.7.5.4772):
when i try to transcode an avi file in xvid-mp4 format using ffmpeg encoder the program don't work.
I have to use only xvid encoder, but it takes much more time as ffmpeg.
Is this a bug?
Or i have to continue using the last working version of mediacoder?
(last version with ffmpeg working for me is 0.7.5.4742)
Thanks for attention! 8)

Yes, your right!
See the Report: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=9611&p=29238#p29238
There is also a link to older versions.

As for speed of transcoding read Notes 6 to 8 in the Encoding Guide:

Thanks for your response. Through the last version of Mediacoder (0.7.5.4772) i can transcode only with Xvid encoder and 'auto' set in audio source. This causes out of sync audio/video when I run transcoded avi file in my mini mp4 player. So... i turn back to the older version. :P
