Re: Wrong audio over video on vob file playback (vob for iphone)
Also, when converting a VOB don't be surprised if the audio is out of sync (see: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=8082&start=0).

Re: Wrong audio over video on vob file playback (vob for iphone)
I have a VOB that I had ripped and trimmed to 120 sec for testing MediaCoder.
It has three audio tracks, indicated in MC's Properties panel at right as:
Audio (128) AC3
.... Bitrate 384 kbps
.... Sample Rate 48000 Hz
....Channel 6
Audio (129) AC3
.... Bitrate 192 kbps
.... Sample Rate 48000 Hz
....Channel 2
Audio (130) AC3
.... Bitrate 192 kbps
.... Sample Rate 48000 Hz
....Channel 2
So, first of all, I will assume you realise that 'Channel: 6' means that this stream (ID 128) is 5.1 surround -- not that there are 6 channels!
Next: to identify which stream is which, I don't use the Play button, which in build 4682 plays only the first stream (ID128), so I opened the file in the software player "VLC" (free).
Then, I R-click on the playing video and select Audio > Audio Track > track 1, etc.
In my case, the streams (Track 1, 2 and 3) are English, French and Italian.
Hence in MediaCoder, they would be Audio ID 128, 129 and 130.
Then, on the Audio tab, I use the Audio ID drop-down menu to select 129 and after conversion, the file plays in French.
Of course, on the audio tab I had NOT seleected "Copy Audio".
Maybe, if the above fails, you had inadvertently set MediaCoder to accept only stereo for conversion (skipping the main 5.1 channels)?
If so, reset your tab values after a full Reset of all parameters/settings by clicking File > Revert All Settings.
Hope this helps.

Re: Wrong audio over video on vob file playback (vob for iphone)
A quick comment:
1) the video duration is given as only 304 millisec, very much less than the 1 h 22 min of audio!!
2) the scan type is given as Progressive yet the scan order is TFF, which is for Interlaced (ie not progresssive)!
Hence, maybe the file is faulty?

Re: Wrong audio over video on vob file playback (vob for iphone)
Also, I just noted in Note 2 of viewtopic.php?f=17&t=8624&p=26247#p26247 that the use of AviSynth in some builds of MediaCoder seem to skip the 6-ch streams of a VOB and use the 2-channel.
