iPod/iPhone Edition no audio problem.

I've been trying to fix this problem for a long time now but i cannot get it right. I have this camcorder (JVC, GR-DX317E). I used adobe premiere 7 to transfer the video to my pc. Everything works and seems fine. Now want to get the video onto my iPhone. mediacoder (ipod/iphone edition) converts the video correctly (full screen) but there isn't any audio. I've been trying for a long time to get this right. The closest i got was that i had audio but then the video wasn't filling the whole screen (it had like black edges around the video). the encode i used at that time was 'mpeg' or something. Obviously default settings isn't working for me.
