Just converted a .mpg (m2V + AC3) file to mp4 and noticed an unwanted audio delay; the original file plays w/o audio delay, just the transcoded version has the problem.
OK, this is my fault, I forgot to manually configure the delay before transcoding...(viewtopic.php?f=17&t=7718&hilit=audio+delay)
The question: is it possible to remux the transcoded MP4 without re-encoding the audio ?
I tried to do that with mediacoder by checking "Copy video" and "Copy audio" and setting the desired audio delay in "Delay of audio track" as decribed in viewtopic.php?f=17&t=8160&start=0.
Apparently, it not as simple as that, as the resulting output still shows the same audio delay problem.
If at all possible, how can I fix the audio delay without transcoding [audio] again (if possible, using the Mediacoder GUI) ?
change audio delay w/o re-encoding audio ?
