Help with some flv and avi to mpg

I have been trying to convert some files for the last couple days with no luck. I am trying to burn a project in DVDStyler. Every time I get an error. I have one avi and about 5 flv videos that I need to convert to mpg so that it is compatible with DVDStyler. I am a noob so I know Im doing something wrong. I have already attempted quite a few times and every time Styler gets an error when creating VOB files that looks like this:

Could someone who has patients for noobs please be kind enough to tell me what settings I need to have in MediaCoder for audio and video in order to get both my avi to mpg and flv to mpg so that they are compatible with DVDStyler.
