Copy streams + burned subtitles

Post by arcadekidflo » Sun May 31, 2009 4:00 am

Hello. I'm trying to quickly encode movies for my smartphone by copying the audio and video streams and adding subtitles directly on the screen .
Process takes 30-40 seconds that is fantastic but ..in the end subs don't show :(

I tried every option there still doesn't work . Btw , the movies i tried are xvid and subtitles are sub and srt .
Help !

When doing video stream copy, it is impossible to render subtitle in frames.
When things work together, things work.

Imposible because it can't be done technically or because no one has done it before ?

Because when render subtiles must change video image - that mean must re-encode.
