The New MediaCoder 0.7.0 Only .EXE - Why!?!?

Hi folks,

How come MediaCoder (version 0.7.0) is no longer offered as a Stand-alone ZIP type!?!? Only the .EXE type!?!?

The release candidates are not released in the 7z form. However, according to the developer, there will be a new version/build in the 7z (standalone) eventually. You'll have to wait a bit.

Actually you can extract files from the installer to a directory with 7-zip just like extracting files from a 7z file.

I too am waiting for a zip version of mediacoder 0.7.0. I understand that release candidates are available only as exe files, but then 0.7.0.4380 is not in RC, unlike the last few versions. I tried the 7-zip thing, it unpacks fine but i get a "Error initializing core engine".

Thank you for the 7-z version , works perfectly fine over here. Will you be putting a link to the files somewhere on the site? Because I noticed that links to the zip version are no longer on the 0.7 page.
