Encoding doesn't work (OGG/Theora)

Encoding doesn't work (OGG/Theora)
I've recently downloaded and tried MediaCoder and got a few errors and questions.
When I trie the default for testing it works fine.
Then I changed in video the mode to quality based and set it to hundred.
The movie was there but it was totally ravaged. It was crap!
Then I trie to make a movie in ogg but I couldn't get it to work.
Did: FLAC (normalize on), Theora and OGG)
Got error 15 and when I change the muxer to ffmpeg, MediaCoder crashes.
Today I tried with MEncoder and it doesn't support FLAC in OGG.
While the format is actually supported in the ogg specifications.
Why is the muxer not automatically adapted to what container selected?
it's a real pain in the *** to have to search the best settings for everything.
When MediaCoder crashes over and over again until I find the best one.
Can someone help me out here, what are the settings that work?
Why can't I use quality-based and then set it to 100%?
What muxer is used best?
My MediaCoder version: 0.6.2 build 4266.

IF you want OGG, choose this
Format: Theora
Container: OGG
Source: Auto select
Backend: FFmpeg
Audio tag:
Vorbis
Quality based doesn't always mean is good, I always and only use 2-pass or bitrate-based sometime 3-pass if necessary
Some format can only work on Quality-based I think, don't know much about quality-based and Theora/OGG cannot work on 2-pass or 3-pass if I recall
Muxer, there really is no difference to me, just checked Auto select

Normally Theora has also VBR and FLAC is allowed in OGG container,
this last is something to be fixed.
Have looked on the official site to see what the specifications says about it:
Found the following:
http://wiki.xiph.org/index.php/MIMETypesCodecs
Specs about file
MPEG-PS: 84.1 MiB, 5mn 55s1 626 Kbps (6 000 Kbps), 640*480 (4/3), at 29.970 fps, MPEG Video (NTSC) (Version 2) (Main@Main)224 Kbps, 48.0 KHz, 2 channels, MPEG Audio (Version 1) (Layer 2)

Decoding and encoding is done by MEncoder/MDecoder
Muxing by MP4Muxer
Where do I set the backend?
Set muxer to disabled and everything went fine.
(Left encoder decoder settings to default: MEncodder/MDecoder...)
When I try to use ffmpeg,
it crashes when starting transcoding in the newest versions.
And MEncoding is slimming down
(the developers use ffmpeg and it looks like they don't want to duplicate stuff).
Because of that Muxing with it doesn't work I assume.
Will wait for another release.
Don't need to convert video's right now,
was actually testing MC.
