I have an full HD video.
A lot of times i tried to convert this video to an avi file. For me it is not clear of my computer specs are a problem (Intel celeron 2,66 GHz, 1,25 GB RAM).
Or do I choose the wrong settings?
When I play the converted video in VLC the sound is running and the video is freezed.
Can someone can give me some tips about the settings to use?

Unfortunately players such as VLC Player and Media Player Classic aren't really optimised to play Blu Ray movies yet,
especially AVC format video. I have found on occasions that both players skip when trying to play AVC video's on
my Q6600 quad core.
The funny thing here is that when I drop those same files into MediaCoder and hit play, they play fine.
You may want to try that and see how you go.
I totally agree with 'mixer' though, convert the movie to 720p and you won't have a problem.
Checkout my 'sticky' guide on how to convert Blu Rays to 720p AVI's or MKV's. I noticed that the movie you
displayed above was very short so the guide may not be entirely helpful, but will point you in the right direction though.
