DVD chapters - Possible to edit video encoding command?

I'm trying to rip a DVD which has 10 chapters, but Media Coder sees 99 chapters!

I think a solution would be to cause the Mencoder syntax to say (-chapter 1-1) if you only select Chapter 1 on the DVD for encoding. Mencoder seems to recognize the 10 chapters correctly, that way the time ending part wouldn't matter, because mencoder would automatically stop at the end of the 1st Chapter.

I've tried to change this in the video command bar at the bottom, but apparently this is read-only?

Could someone tell me how to edit the command (change it from just "-chapter 1" to "-chapter 1-1"?

Is it possible to change the encoding command, I would assume that that is why it is shown at the bottom?
