6 channel ac3 transcoded to AAC (Nero or CT) 6channel

I have been testing this wonderful piece of software for some time now..i am trying to encode an avi (divx3+ac3 6ch) to mkv (h264+aac 6ch) with no luck. MC always seem to get 2 ch aac....came across the audio filters setting and saw the channels option ....played arouind with it but that does npt get the output i want that is aac 6ch. what am i doing wrong? does MC support transcoding ac3 6ch to aac 6ch (nero or CT)? stanley ure advice on this is required at the earliest...ure work is truly appreciated.

forget about the audio filters setting.
you should set number of playback channel to 6 in overall - decoding options, BUT mc generates wrong command line, so go to overall - mplayer options - extra mplayer options and put

-channels 6

in.
