Hi!
I don't know how to set the desired subtitle track when transcoding from VOB to AVI. I don't even know whether this is possible. Under the "Texts" tab, seting the language doesn't make any difference. I don't get any subtitles integrated into the AVI output file.
Can anyone enlighten me on this?

if the vob file has only one subtitle track, just type -sid 0 in overall - mencoder options - extra mencoder options.
if it has 2+ subtitles, you have to identify the subtitle track you want by playing the vob file with -sid x set in overall - mplayer options - extra mplayer options, starting from -sid 0 until you find your language.
after you're done with this, put the found -sid x in overall - mencoder options - extra mencoder options.
