WAV to MP3 - an annoying click

I'm trying to convert PCM WAV samples to MP3 format, and it works fine, except at the end of each new MP3 there's an annoying click.

I'm assuming somehow, Media Coder is inserting some other data, like a header, into the new mp3 as sound data.

I also got this when I converted to Ogg.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
