Quick question

Post by Sauron » Sun Jul 30, 2006 7:49 am

Okay. I'm new to the program, and this is what I'm trying to do:
I want to convert a batch of
16kbps, 16kHz, mono mp3 files
to
128kbps, 44.1kHz, stereo mp3 files
while preserving the original id3 tags and file structure.

I have set the following:

Output:
Preserve Original folder structure: true
default remaining

Audio:
Source: Mplayer
Encoder: LAME
Resample: 44.1kHz
default remaining

Video:
Format: bypass
default remaining

Container:
default

Picture:
default

Time:
default

Texts:
Transfer tags: true
default remaining

I also set the stereo mode in the LAME encoder settings to Stereo.

Obviously, I'm getting an error message, or I wouldn't be posting so I ask:
what have I missed?

I have tried specifying a new output directory, to no avail.
I have also tried specifying a different working directory, and tried forcing the use of an intermediate waveform file. No joy.

Any advice would be appreciated!
Thx.

Try using Lame decoder as audio source.
