Using Avisynth/VirtualDub Filters

Post by flebber » Sun Jul 13, 2008 4:53 pm

Hi

I am a Virtualdub come Mediacoder Convert, I like the X264 matroska support and just the general ease of mediacoder.

The only thing I can't find is filters. I assume I have to load them via Avisynth But I have no idea how. And is it only Avisynth filters I can use ? What about Virtualdub Filters ?

Any help appreciated. I am looking at filters for cleaning and sharpening vhs captures at the moment, I also found frame merger useful in acheiving optimal file size.

Okay not sure if this is the way to go but am gonna try and use AVSedit http://sourceforge.net/project/showfile ... p_id=57023 . Will post back and let people know how it goes so we can use avisynth filters in mediacoder.

Video filter option is located under Picture Tab labeled Effects (click button). Make sure video is loaded in MediaCoder first. You May also go to File --> Menu...

MediaCoder Preferences Window
Video Filters --> TAKE YOUR PICK
