[Optimization Packs] Question about encoders version

Post by BrunoReX » Sat Jan 26, 2008 12:18 am

I have a Core 2 Duo CPU and i use the Optimization Pack for it.
But i know that Optimization Packs have MPlayer, MEncoder and ffmpeg binaries optimized for specific CPU, but in the last changelog of MediaCoder (0.6.1.4038) says that program have updated binaries for this 3 same programas. My question is: If i use optimization packs in the latest versions of MediaCoder i didn't loose any functionality of the program?

PS: I use MediaCoder every day to convert RMVB vídeos to XviD to watch in my Playstation 2, using a homebrew called "SMS Media Player", i really have to say "Thank You!" for your software and i wish you keep updating and improving it.

The opt. pack is not updated as often as other releases. However, i think most features should still work. I will try releasing the opt. pack more often. Anyone who would like to help to build, release and maintain opt. packs for specific processors, please pm me.
