mediacoder stalling

hello
mediacoder is stalling for me
it has happened with the newest version and the candidate release
i am trying to transcode an unencrypted dvd on a hd
it works with many output formats but not with xvid at 100 quality
the whole preset is the following http://brendanfromireland.googlepages.c ... acoder.xml
it starts and says transcoding but doesnt move past 0.0% and the stats window doesnt show anything processed

does this happen to anybody else ever?
does anybody have any ideas why or how to fix?

Set the quality to 99%.

mencoder cant be set to 100 for xvid at all can it?

i think it has to go down to 97 actually for xvid
98 99 100 dont work for me
i wonder could it be programmed in not to allow these settings in the next build or would that be a big deal
