I'm trying to convert some video files from WMV to H264. I'm new to this process and I'm having some problems with the conversion. The great problem is that the sound is encoded with a delay, it appears after the image. I know that the software have an option that enables you to put a delay between the sound and the image, but since in the source video there i no delay the problem is happening during the encoding process. Do anyone have some tips/suggestions on what can be delaying the sound in the encoding? I'm using the LAME MP3 for the sound and H.264 for the video.
Thanks.

I think lame mp3 (only the newest version) has some problems. You could try replacing it with an older version (f.e. 3.97) or using a different audio source in the audio tab.
MediaCoder settings:
x264 (backend/source: mencoder, fps: 23,976, Fabio Sonatti's settings) + nero aac 64 in matroska

I have tried other sound packages (Nero, WMA, Helix MP3) and the problem continues, the delay is smaller than with the original LAME MP3 sound but it is still there. Any other idea?
I'm now downloading the new version of the LAME MP3 and I will also try some other videos.
Thanks.
