I have downloaded and saved a RA file but when I try to convert all I get is No file is outputted - Error code 8. I have downloaded all extra codecs and set the output file to MP3. What am I doing wrong?

When I follow the instructions on the examples page I get as
far as the audio tab but then get stuck as all the options are blanked out - the arrows don't work and I can't select anything.
I need an output file that can be played on a iPod whch is why I stated MP3 conversion but this isn't fixed.

If everything in the audio tab is blanked out it means that MediaCoder (or MediaInfo and Mplayer) don't recognize your real audio input, I havn't found a solution for this problem, yet. 
MediaCoder settings:
x264 (backend/source: mencoder, fps: 23,976, Fabio Sonatti's settings) + nero aac 64 in matroska
