I have a zen vision M which supports many types of formats. What is the best way to transcode for this device.

Not having this device myself, it's hard to say.
My first consern would file size, then quality.
What video formats does it support?
Let me know and I'll try to answer you as best as I can.
Edit...
I have found the formats it supports, they are as follows..
DivX 4 & 5, XviD3, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG4-SP, WMV9 and Motion-JPEG.
You can go to this site to get downloads and special support....

As soon as I get the necessary specs I'll try and setup some settings in
'Tips And Guides' for you. You could try the ones already available for
MPEG-1/MPEG-2, MP4 and WMV.
All the best.
