Hi, whenever I select normalize in Audio, I noticed that the outputted file is a little off. I mean, I noticed that, about 3-4 seconds later into the song, the loudness of the track suddenly becomes louder and noticeable. I've test with WMA and Lame MP3 codecs, Gain was set to 10-20 dB, and normalize was set on. When I removed the check from normalize, the track sudden change in dB was gone, but the sound was kind cut off and bad quality.

I too have had this problem. Sometimes, the gain on the audio goes up and drops back down throughout the output file. Does anyone have any advice concerning this?

It's true that the normalizer is not very good and generally it shouldn't be turned on together with gain option. Also a gain of 20db will easily make the audio sample overflow which brings bad effect.
When things work together, things work.
