Converted file not saved

Mediacoder no longer saves (writes to disk) newly transcoded files. I updated to the latest version and tried re-validating (which succeeded), and running the program as administrator (although I am the default administrator anyway). The output folder is set to the original file's folder, and I tried resetting that to other folders. Nothing seems to work.
