increasing bitrate

Hi,

Trying out MediaCoder Premium on my GoPro 4K AVIs with CFHD codec (no audio). They convert to H264 MP4 fine with a bitrate of 10000 and play in VLC. Quality of the video is severely impacted given the high resolution. So I attempted to increase the bitrate (45000, 50000 both tried, both after first reverting all settings) but the resultant MP4s do not play in VLC (no error message, just no video). File sizes are all as expected... 10kbps < 45 kbps < 50 kbps. Help please?

Thanks
Russell

Change the video source from MEncoder to FFmpeg. MEncoder does not combine with AVI Input video Streams.

Consider increasing the video buffer in VLC there are several tutorials.
