Insert "marker" into an .mp3???

Hi there,
I was wondering if there is any way to insert a "marker" into an existing .mp3 file? For example, I have a number of music tracks that contain more than one movement or song in a big, long, single file. Is there any way to insert a "end/beginning of movement/song" marker into this .mp3 file without actually splitting the file into multiple parts or causing an actual break/pause in the playback?
