Channel changing

Hi! Thanks for the great software. I need to convert a 2-channel wav file to 1-channel. I tried switching it to mono but it still came across of 2-channel.

You want to keep only left or right channel?

you want to soun only one channel and the other don't sound?
If the file is mono channel genneraly is mixedown fron stereo but soun all channel without stereo effects.
